About This Product

■Summary

DVI-D CAT5e long range extender DE02E transmits DVI-D signals with one LAN cable (CAT5e/6/6a/7). (Using a CAT6 cable or higher is recommended) A maximum resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 can be extended by 100 meters using a LAN cable that is thin and easy to route. No settings required for both transmitter and receiver. You can use it immediately by connecting the device and cable. Ideal if you want to install a large monitor away from the PC. Features

■Extend DVI-D signal by 100m

Extends DVI-D signals up to 100m using CAT5e/6/6a/7 (UTP/STP AWG24 single core), maximum supported resolution is 1,920×1,200 @60Hz

■No setting required

No settings are required for both transmitter and receiver. It can be used immediately after connection.

■HDCP compatible

Compatible with the HDCP copyright protection function, so you can use it with confidence on a variety of devices such as consumer Blu-ray recorders. (All devices other than this unit (monitors, etc.) must also support HDCP.) *Depending on the video equipment and monitor, the images may not be displayed properly. We will be happy to assist you with checking the operation of your loan.

■STP/CAT7 available

Compatible with noise-resistant STP cables and CAT7 cables. It is effective when used near machines that generate radiated noise, such as electric scalpels in operating rooms and machine tools in factories. *When using an STP cable/CAT7 cable, be sure to ground the connected device.

■Easy wiring

A normal LAN cable is used. It is thinner and easier to route than a DVI cable. Wires can be easily routed through gaps in existing piping or monitor arms. Moreover, since the connector is a LAN connector (RJ45), it can be easily installed on-site. If there is enough space in the piping, it is possible to run the wires with the connector attached. DVI connectors, on the other hand, are very difficult to route plumbing through. It is also not practical to install it on-site.

■Compliant with RoHS Directive

DE02E complies with RoHS directive.
