About This Product

■Summary

Surge protector for 16ch AHD/HD-TVI/HDCVI SP016HD is a surge protector that supports AHD, HD-TVI, and HDCVI video transmitted via coaxial cable (BNC connector). Up to 16 channels of video can be connected with a 19-inch rack mount 1U size. Surges caused by induced lightning that occur in the transmission cable are dissipated to the ground before the equipment.

■Features

- Cuts off surges generated in AHD/HD-TVI/HDCVI video signals (BNC connection) and releases them to ground. ・Up to 16 systems can be connected. ・19 inch rack mount 1U size. ・Does not require power supply.

■Usage example

・Protects equipment from surges that enter long-distance wiring outdoors ・Protects from surges transmitted from video wiring of outdoor cameras ・Open the high voltage of induced lightning to the ground in front of the equipment.

■Surge protector installation location

Place the surge protector as close as possible to the equipment you want to protect. Place it near the camera when you want to protect the camera, and near the monitor/DVR when you want to protect the monitor or DVR. The basic measure against surges is to install them on both sides of the camera and display equipment.
