■Summary
Surge protector for HD video/high frequency signals
A surge protector for coaxial cables that protects equipment from various surges. Can be used with HD-SDI signals, EX-SDI signals, analog HD signals, etc. It uses a surge absorption method that is completely different from conventional ones, and is effective without being grounded. It will now be possible to protect equipment that previously could not be protected from surges due to grounding.
Features
■No need for grounding work
Conventional surge protectors always require grounding work, but this product uses a new method that absorbs surge energy and releases it in a dispersed manner, making it possible to protect equipment without having to do grounding work.
■EX-SDI, analog HD, composite video signal compatible
In addition to HD-SDI signals, high-resolution analog video signals such as EX-SDI, AHD, HD-CVI, and HDTVI, various signal coaxial transmitters such as HDMI/IP/PoE, and various transmitters that use 75Ω coaxial cables such as RF transmission ( signal: 1.5GHz or less).
■Protects from various surges
Protects wired equipment such as HD-SDI video from induced lightning (LFS), power switching surges (PSS), inrush currents (SIC), and electromagnetic pulses (EMP).
■High protection ability
Passed the 8kV/4kA test with a voltage waveform of 1.2/50μs and a current waveform of 8/20μs, respectively, assuming induced lightning. Compatible with IEC standard "IEC 61643-21" which is equivalent to "JIS C5381-21". (Surge protection device connected to communication and signal circuits, equivalent to category C2) Compatible with IEC standard "IEC 61000-4-4", which is equivalent to "JIS C61000-4-4".
