About This Product

■Summary

Transmits 4 systems of composite video and 3 systems of control signals (RS232C+RS422+RS485) up to 30km using single mode optical fiber cable. It supports a wide operating temperature range and can be installed even in harsh environments. Can be operated in combination with the D series dedicated chassis. VAD-D403A.L1.T.235 (transmitter) and VAD-D403A.L1.R.235 (receiver) are sold separately. *This product does not support AHD/HD-TVI/HDCVI video signals. Features

■Wide operating temperature range

It can be used in a wide temperature range from -20 to 75℃. It can be operated in areas with harsh temperature environments, such as inside boxes installed outdoors, in freezers, and around boilers, which were previously difficult to install.

■Long distance transmission

4 composite video systems and 3 control signal systems (RS232C/RS422/RS485) can be transmitted up to 30km using single mode optical fiber cable.

■Combination with D series chassis

Various operations are possible by using it in combination with various D series dedicated chassis. *Special chassis are available for stand-alone installation and for 19-inch rack mount.

■DC9~12V operation

Operates with the included power adapter (AC100V) or DC9-12V. Not only can it be operated using commercial power, but it can also be installed inside the camera housing and operated using camera power.

■Wiring possible even in small spaces

The diameter of fiber optic cable is approximately 3mm. Wiring can be done even in places where wiring is already installed, as long as there is some space.

■Noise resistance

Fiber optic cables are less susceptible to noise interference. It is possible to transmit signals while maintaining signal quality even when wiring is adjacent to noise sources such as power lines and signal lines. Additionally, the fiber optic cable itself does not generate noise. Suitable for wiring in locations where noise should not be generated, such as near medical equipment or measuring equipment.

■Loss during transmission

Since optical fiber transmitters communicate using digital signals, there is almost no deterioration of the video signal, allowing long-distance transmission with clear video.
