About This Product
■Watertight performance (outside water pressure)
Waterproofing of 0.06MPa is ensured by simply inserting the product.
■Construction performance
Since a single rubber ring has waterproof and earthquake-resistant properties, backfilling can be performed immediately by simply joining the product, making it extremely easy to construct.
■Environmental performance
Conventional products required PC steel rods, sealing materials, joint materials, grouting materials, seismic joints, PC tensioning devices, etc., but SJ-BOX requires only one rubber ring and one or two lever blocks, making it very easy to use. It is an environmentally friendly product that saves resources and labor.
■Structural characteristics
SJ-BOX uses a joint structure that is flexible and has a long insertion length, giving flexibility to the joints of each culvert. Therefore, although it is inexpensive, it has sufficient watertight performance just by inserting the joint and has seismic performance that can withstand level 2 earthquake motion.
■Workability
・Quick construction is possible because it only needs to be connected.
・There are few types of work. (No need to connect with steel, apply sealant, or treat inner joints)
・Water stop with one rubber ring. Because it has earthquake resistance, it can be backfilled immediately by simply joining the products together.
■Watertightness
・Earthquake resistance and water-tightness can be ensured even in small-diameter boxes that cannot be entered by people.
・Since there is almost no gradient in the insertion and insertion, the compression ratio of the rubber ring will not change even if it starts to slip out.
- Ensures watertightness of 0.06MPa in the released state.
■Construction performance
- Satisfies the performance requirements in the longitudinal direction under level 2 earthquake motion.
・It is impossible to prevent uneven settlement with any BOX, but SJ-BOX can handle settlements of several tens of centimeters over a 50m span.

■Deformability
