About This Product
■Features
1. A wide space without small beams can be created with the same thickness as a conventional concrete floor.
The spancrete composite flooring method is a composite flooring method that combines spancrete and post-cast concrete. Because spancrete is thin and can withstand long spans due to the introduction of prestressing, it is possible to construct large floor slabs without small beams even though they are as thick as conventional concrete floors.
2. Compared to a conventional concrete floor of the same thickness, the fixed load of the floor can be reduced by 20-25%.
Spuncrete is a hollow prestressed concrete panel that has 30-40% hollow space (core holes). Therefore, even when integrated with cast-in-place concrete, the fixed load can be reduced by about 20 to 25% compared to a conventional concrete slab of the same thickness. Reducing fixed loads greatly contributes to reducing the cost of structural frames such as columns and beams.
3. It has excellent performance as a work floor and can improve the efficiency of construction.
By using spancrete, which has a flat surface, in place of formwork, equipment work, reinforcing steel work, and concrete pouring work become easier. In addition, it requires less temporary materials such as floor forms and supports, making setup changes easier, and requires less concrete and reinforcing steel, which can shorten construction periods and reduce costs. A flat, load-bearing floor also contributes to improved work safety.
4. Achieves almost the same weight floor impact sound performance as a conventional concrete floor of the same thickness.
Although the spancrete composite floor construction method is 20 to 25% lighter than a conventional concrete slab of the same thickness, it achieves almost the same performance at the heavy floor impact sound level.
5. Despite the long span, the long-term deflection is extremely small.
Experimental results of the long-term deflection of a spuncrete composite floor are approximately 3.6 times the elastic deflection. This is an extremely small value compared to the 12 to 18 times the conventional method for reinforced concrete floors.
