Root thickness 0.2mm or less (can be broken with a fingernail)

■Automatic deburring of cylinder heads

・Material: Aluminum ・Pre-processing: Face milling ・Tool used: A11-CB100M

■Challenges

A nylon brush with abrasive grains was used, but it took a long time to remove burrs and the grinding power was low, leaving burrs behind.

■Introduction effects

High grinding power eliminates burrs and stabilizes quality. It also enables high-feed processing and shortens cycle time.

■Automation of mold polishing

・Material: High hardness material ・Pre-processing: End mill processing ・Tool used: A11-CB25M

■Challenges

Polishing was done by hand, and each work took about 40 minutes. Quality was also unstable and customer complaints were occurring.

■Introduction effects

The polishing work was automated and the work time was reduced to one minute. Variations among workers were eliminated, and quality became stable.
