About This Product

This reel uses a fully enclosed external fan motor and an oil submerged slip unit as its driving source, making it resistant to dust and rainwater. Suitable for powering coastal cranes, stirring equipment, steel mill trolleys, etc. Compatible with various winding methods, but cannot be used with upside down or horizontal mounting.

■Main uses

For power supply to coastal cranes, power supply to stirring equipment, power supply to trolleys for steel plants, etc.

■About the structure

The control type cable reel is a reel that winds cables by driving a fully enclosed external fan type three-phase geared motor (IP55).It has a slip mechanism called a "slip unit", a gear box with a built-in reduction gear, a current collector, and a winding unit. Consists of drums etc.

■About slip unit

A slip unit consists of friction plates arranged radially around the spindle and disks connected to a gear with built-in bearings that alternately overlap to form a friction surface, and oil penetrates between the friction surfaces. This is a device that uses the resulting oil film to create a certain amount of friction, adjust the torque from the motor, and transmit a constant torque.
