About This Product

This is a bright contrast phase contrast objective lens (BM lens) that is effective for phase contrast microscopy of fibrous particles in the air. The BM effect of bright contrast phase difference and high resolution due to high numerical aperture (NA: 0.75) significantly improves the detection ability of ultrafine fiber class and improves visibility for the observer. In bright contrast, an object with a large phase difference appears as a brighter image against a dark background, similar to dark-field observation. A brightly shining image against a dark background is visually appealing, so it is suitable for investigating the morphology of fine fibers, granules, bacteria, etc., and for detecting and counting them. Note: Bright contrast is an observation method in which objects with a higher refractive index than their surroundings appear brighter, while the background appears darker. Dark contrast is an observation method in which objects with a higher refractive index than their surroundings appear black, and the background appears brighter.
