About This Product

This sampling holder complies with the specifications of "Asbestos Monitoring Manual (Version 4.0)" and "JIS K3850-1 Airborne Fibrous Particle Measurement Method". It can also be used as an open face holder for filtration and collection in work environment measurements.

Unlike the conventional filter holder φ47mm, by adding a 50mm cowl (0.7 times the effective filter paper diameter), the effects of obstructed airflow and water droplets can be minimized. The holder body is made of aluminum, making it lightweight, and the inner diameter of the tube connection port is large enough (φ6.6mm) to connect directly to the pump of a low volume air sampler. The surface velocity at the filter surface when suctioning at 10L/min is 17.3cm/sec. The conventional product (CH-0247 model) required a separately sold tripod mounting band to attach to a tripod, but the CH0347 model has a standard screw hole in the holder itself, so it can be attached directly to a tripod.
