``This product'' consists of an ``on-machine polishing tool'' and a ``hybrid rubin''.

■Features of on-machine polishing tool

"On-machine polishing tools" are installed on the spindle chuck of "NC machine tools such as machining centers" to automate mold polishing, and do not require new capital investment such as purchasing a dedicated polishing machine. It offers a simple structure and inexpensive polishing process. The biggest feature of the "on-machine polishing tool" is that it has a damper function, and by combining it with the "hybrid rubin" described later, the end surface of the grinding wheel follows the shape of the pre-processed surface, such as cutting, to create a flat, tertiary surface. By removing pre-processing marks on the free-form surfaces and vertical walls of the original shape, we achieved nano-order (nm) mirror polishing using only fixed abrasive grains, without using free abrasive grains.

■On-machine polishing tool specifications

There are three types of "on-machine polishing tools": a standard specification and a small specification with a vertical damper function, and a collet chuck specification for vertical walls with a vertical damper function and a circumferential damper function. ・In the standard specification, the head can be replaced (grindstone chuck diameter φ3 or φ6) so that a large diameter grindstone can be installed. ・The small collet chuck specification uses a spring collet to suppress core wobbling so that small-diameter grindstones with low circumferential speeds can be rotated at high speed. ・The collet chuck specification for standing walls is a revolutionary new product that adds a circumferential damper function to the vertical damper function, making it possible to polish standing walls.

■Hybrid Rabin features

・This is a special rubber bond grindstone for on-machine polishing tools, and is a non-porous type that holds diamond abrasive grains in place with a bonding agent (rubber). - Due to the elasticity of the rubber, the abrasive particles are absorbed by the rubber, reducing the impact on the workpiece, making the grinding pattern uniform, improving the surface roughness, and leaving no deep polishing scratches. ・Although some chips may adhere, the moderate peeling properties of rubber prevent clogging and crushing, and the grinding ability is maintained, allowing continuous processing. ・Even if the surface of the whetstone becomes black, its sharpness will not deteriorate. - Non-conformity is unlikely to occur even with iron-based materials, and CBN abrasive grains are not required.

■Hybrid Rabin specification

・Whetstone diameter: Φ1~Φ20 ・Whetstone count: #60 to #10,000 ・Rubber hardness: JIS durometer A scale 95 ・Diamond abrasive grain ・Concentration level 100 ・Whetstone shaft: Stainless steel (can be cut with a hacksaw, etc.)
