About This Product

This is a waveform analysis device for radiation signals. It provides analysis functions for wave height values ​​and rise/decay times, neutron-gamma ray discrimination, and data logger functions. This configuration functions as a general Multi Channel Analyzer (MCA). Waveform discrimination is possible by measuring the wave height value and rise/decay time. Waveform analysis is fully digital, and arbitrary window settings are possible. Up to 4 independent signal channels can be installed, making it possible to measure coincidence and correlation between channels. Each signal channel is equipped with a high-voltage bias power supply required for photomultiplier tubes and semiconductor detectors, making it possible to control the bias voltage at the same time as waveform analysis. ■Features ・Event measurement mode that enables advanced analysis ・Histogram measurement mode that can handle high counting rates ・Oscilloscope mode that allows you to observe input waveforms from the control PC ■Highly flexible analog front end ・Gain adjustment (Input gain can be adjusted from 1/64 times to 128 times, supporting a wide input range.) ・Input resistance (can be switched in 4 steps from 50Ω to 50kΩ) ・Baseline restoration (Auto offset adjustment function allows you to adjust to the desired level with one button.) ・Compatible with both polarities (Polarity can be reversed by digital processing.) ■Various digital filters Random noise can be reduced with a 5-stage digital low-pass filter (simple moving average filter). Additionally, the sampling rate can be reduced to 1/4 to 1/100 using a decimation filter. This supports wave height analysis of slow rising pulse waveforms. ■Independent high voltage bias power supply for each signal channel Equipped with the high voltage bias power supply required for photomultiplier tubes and semiconductor detectors, it is possible to simplify setup during measurement. ON/OFF and output voltage can be changed independently for each signal channel using software. It can also be used as a remote controllable high voltage bias power supply without using the measurement function. ■Network compatible Connect the MCA and control PC via LAN. Remote connection via a LAN hub or router is also possible, so it can be used in inaccessible measurement environments or remote locations. ■Usage example Directly insert LiCAF + PMT
