About This Product

Shuts out the inflow of cold air. An essential item for a comfortable home.

■Construction method

Fill the air stop in the direction appropriate to the internal dimensions of the column and wait for restoration. If the restoration is slow, please cut the vinyl with a cutter to restore it. Make the cut with the cutter as close to the top as possible. Also, if the product is not easily restored, please fold it in half and install it. After construction, we will check to see if the installed glass wool will fall off. The key to insulation renovation is to improve the insulation performance of your home and stop hot air from coming in from the ceiling in the summer and cooling from below the floor in the winter. By installing an airflow stopper, you can shut out the airflow inside the wall. If the product's polyethylene film bag is damaged, it can be replaced with a commercially available polyethylene film (thickness: approximately 25 μm or more) that is 550 mm x 700 mm or more. Polyethylene film must not be exposed to direct fire.

■Deaeration method

You can degas it using one of the methods below. After degassing, fold the degassing port toward the glass wool side to prevent air from entering. ・Method 1 (Degassing using a vacuum cleaner) Insert a vacuum cleaner through the degassing port and apply it to glass wool to deaerate. ・Method 2 (Degassing without using equipment) Place it on a smooth surface and compress the glass wool with your hands (you may also use a surface material) while degassing towards the degassing port.
