■Features
・``Energy saving'' According to the H28 energy saving standards for external insulation methods, walls in areas 1 and 2 require a thermal resistance of 1.8 [m2 K/W], but the high-performance Taiyo SUN board with an external diameter of 75 mm has a thermal resistance of 2.1. [m2･K/W].
・"Recyclability" Over 80% of the raw materials of glass wool are recycled products. Additionally, since it is Hokkaido-produced glass wool, it can be recycled within Hokkaido.
- ``Workability'' It has a moderate amount of flexibility, so it has good dimensional changeability and followability, making it excellent in workability. This is a characteristic unique to glass wool that is not found in other materials. Also, since it is a high-performance product, the tingling sensation is suppressed.
- ``Water repellency'' The outer surface of the Taiyo SUN board has been treated to be water repellent, so there is no need to worry about it even if it rains a little during construction. Moisture adhering to the surface will completely dry in about a day.
- ``Long-term sustainability'' In the environment inside the exterior wall, glass wool can maintain its shape for a long time. Furthermore, since it is an insulation material that suppresses air movement without using CFCs or CFC substitutes, there is no deterioration in insulation performance.
- ``Nonflammable'' Glass wool board became a legally noncombustible material under Notification No. 1400 of the Ministry of Construction, which came into effect on May 31, 2000.
