About This Product

■Features

- There is no longer a need to press the power switch to start checking. Automatically turns on the circuit when the check terminal (clip) is shorted (continuity check starts). ・If there is continuity, a buzzer will sound. (Continuity tester, electronic circuit tester) - Prevents the buzzer from sounding accidentally due to the resistance of the semiconductor elements (transistors, diodes, ICs, etc.) and control circuits included in the circuit. ・When the resistance value is between short circuit and 2Ω, it is judged as continuity and sounds the buzzer. If the resistance value is between 2Ω and 5Ω, the buzzer will be activated intermittently. ・It is possible to switch between L range (0~5Ω) and H range (0~50Ω). (by operating a push switch) - Check at low voltage and low current so as not to affect the circuit being investigated. (DC0.5V/0.1mA) - A protection circuit is incorporated to prevent the checker from being crushed even if you accidentally touch a live circuit. This continuity checker will not break even if it comes into contact with a live AC100V. (However, prolonged contact is dangerous.) - There is no power switch to turn on the checker circuit. When you start the continuity check, the circuit power is automatically turned on. ・Auto power off after about 1 minute when you stop using it. Never forget to turn off the power. ・The auto power off time will be extended while the continuity check continues. ・The LED lights up while the circuit is powered on. -Powered by 2 AAA batteries. ・I used a magnetic sounder for the buzzer to make the notification sound louder. ・Controlled using one-chip microcontroller ATtiny25V. *This is a simple circuit that can be completed in 2 to 3 hours. (Surface mount ICs are already soldered to the board)

■Operation

・Basically, it only has the function of checking continuity. Touch the clip to the wire you want to check, and if the buzzer sounds, it is determined that there is continuity. ・If the resistance is small, a continuous beep will sound, and if the resistance is large, the sound will change to an intermittent beep. The period of the intermittent sound changes depending on the resistance value. ・The LED on the panel indicates the power supply of the circuit. Indicates that the sleep state has been canceled and the device is waiting for a continuity check. You can tell how much battery power is being consumed by looking at the change in brightness during buzzer notification and standby.
