About This Product

Highly flame-retardant cabtire cable is a highly flame-retardant chloroprene cabtire cable that passes the vertical tray combustion test (IEEE Std.383:1974). (Standard product passes JIS horizontal flame retardant level) Because it is difficult to spread fire, it is ideal as a cabtire cable for disaster prevention.

■Types of highly flame-retardant cabtire cables

There are two types of highly flame-retardant cabtire kale (SF-): high pressure (3,300V, 6,600V), low pressure, and special transportation. (Excluding some varieties)

■Structural features of highly flame-retardant cabtyre cable

Highly flame-retardant cabtire cable uses special chloroprene rubber for the sheath material. Other than the sheath, the conductor configuration, insulator, etc. are the same as the standard product, so there are no changes to the structural dimensions or allowable current value.

■Performance of highly flame-retardant cabtire cable

Our highly flame-retardant cabtire cables have the same electrical characteristics as standard products. In addition, it has the same level of flexibility, workability, and properties (heat resistance, weather resistance, oil resistance, etc.) as the standard product, so it can be used on a par with the standard product.

■Example of application of highly flame-retardant cabtire cable

・For temporary power sources in power generation facilities ・Facilities that may be exposed to sparks, such as around furnaces or welding machines ・Other wiring that requires measures to prevent the spread of fire
