About This Product

■SummaryValchip MK is a concrete/mortar reinforcing short fiber that exhibits high adhesion performance due to its unique stretching and embossing process. Unlike reinforcement using iron materials, it does not rust, is lightweight, and has excellent workability. It also has excellent alkali resistance and chemical resistance, so there is no need to worry about deterioration in concrete or mortar.

Features
■Balchip MK3530 (for architectural use)Concrete/mortar reinforcing short fibers are mainly used for non-structural areas such as earthen floors, external structures, raised roofs, and roof waterproof layer retainers. The reinforcement (reinforcing bars, welded wire mesh) will be omitted and short fiber reinforced concrete will be used. It has the advantages of shortening the construction period by eliminating the need for a core, reducing costs by saving manpower, and suppressing cracks by using short fibers.

■Balchip MK7130 (orbital application)Concrete reinforcing fiber for height adjustment under sleepers in elastic direct connection/elastic ballast track. By improving bending toughness, it is possible to reduce the number of crack-suppressing bars, shortening the construction period and further suppressing cracks.

■Balchip MK3530, 2030, 7130 (road use)Adding VALCHIP MK can be expected to suppress cracks in concrete road pavement (new construction/repair) and in the method of increasing the thickness of the top surface of deck slabs. In addition, the crosslinking effect of the fibers can also prevent concrete pieces from peeling or chipping.

■Balchip MK2030 (for tunnel spraying)The addition of short fibers improves bending toughness and is effective against cracking and peeling. It has a lighter specific gravity than iron, and is superior in terms of workability and safety.

■Balchip MK3530 (for bridge applications)A short fiber used to prevent cover concrete pieces from falling off in concrete structures. VALCHIP MK satisfies the standards for flaking prevention performance in the East/Central/Western Japan Expressway Co., Ltd.'s "Structure Construction Management Guidelines." It can also be used on concrete floor slabs.
