About This Product
■Easily measure the concentration of beer or wort
HI96841 converts sugar content into °Plato and displays it. (°Plato is the concentration of wort) It is very easy to use and can be measured easily and quickly.
°Plato scale is a method of quantifying the concentration of sugars and dissolved solids in wort and is used as an indicator of beer's potential alcohol content. The HI96841 converts refractive index readings to °P (plateau) based on tables maintained by the International Unified Committee for Sugar Analysis (ICUMSA) and the American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC).
