About This Product
■Easy operation, measuring salinity (salt) in seconds
HI96821 measures the salinity (g/100g, g/100mL), specific gravity, Baume degree, and temperature of table salt. The seawater salinity meter (refractometer) is HI96822. *Not suitable for measuring food.
■Notes on measuring salinity with a refractometer
A refractometer (densitometer) displays all components dissolved in the measurement sample (solution) as measured values. Please note that when measuring soy sauce, miso soup, ramen soup, etc. with this instrument, components other than salt will also be detected as numerical values.
Note that an electrode-type (ion electrode) salinity meter is suitable for these types of measurement samples.
