About This Product

■Easily measure refractive index and concentration (% Brix)

The HI96800 measures refractive index and concentration (% Brix) in one highly versatile unit. Refractive index helps understand the composition of sample water and evaluate its concentration and density. It is used in a wide range of fields including food/beverages, medicine, and industry.

■Main features

・Measure sample refractive index (nD) and temperature compensated refractive index (nD20) at 20℃ ・Easily measure refractive index with just a few drops of sample and a few seconds ・Display concentration (% Brix) from refractive index with button operation ・Easy to calibrate with purified or distilled water ・IP65 waterproof function ・Temperature display and automatic temperature compensation function ・Measurement principle and temperature compensation comply with the standards of ICUMSA (International Committee for Unified Sugar Analytical Methods)

■Notes

A refractometer (densitometer) displays all components dissolved in the measurement sample (solution) as measured values. Therefore, products introduced for 〇〇 (e.g., glucose) can measure the concentration with high reliability when only 〇〇 (glucose) is dissolved in the measurement sample, but it is possible to measure the concentration with high reliability when only 〇〇 (glucose) is dissolved in the measurement sample. If they are also dissolved, the concentration including them will be displayed.
