About This Product
■Highly accurate measurement possible even in the ultra-low power range
The HI 98703 is a high-precision turbidity meter that complies with EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) standards. It demonstrates high reliability, especially in measurements in the ultra-low concentration range. Calibration can be performed at up to 4 points, and standard solutions are included at the time of product purchase for peace of mind. There is also a storage function for 200 data.
■Applications
Turbidity measurement at water treatment plants and sewage treatment plants, measurement of environmental water, quality control of vinegar (monitoring fermentation by microorganisms, evaluation of filtration accuracy), turbidity measurement of raw material extracts of processed foods, outlet of pool filtration equipment measurement of turbidity, measurement of slurry concentration in cleaning towers (scrubbers), adjustment of bacterial solutions, beauty serums and cosmetics (placenta, etc.)
■Main features
・In compliance with EPA standards, the unit is NTU (Nephelometric turbidity). Equivalent to FTU (formazin turbidity).
- Adopts ratio measurement. (Combination of 90° scattered light method and 180° transmitted light method)
・High accuracy with up to 4-point calibration. Demonstrates high reliability even in the ultra-low concentration range.
・Suitable for a wide range of applications from 0.00 to 1,000NTU.
・Save function for up to 200 data.
・Data can also be transferred to a PC. (Uses Windows software and PC connection cable (USB or RS232) sold separately)
- Calibration status can be checked using the GLP function.
・Backlight function.
・The current time can also be displayed on the screen.
