■PEEK heat resistant temperature
PEEK is a crystalline resin that can be used continuously at temperatures of 250℃ (260℃ is also possible). Semiconductors are manufactured using many types of acids, alkalis, and chemical solutions. Recently, products are often manufactured at high temperatures, so chemical resistance at high temperatures is required.
PEEK is used because it has good chemical resistance at high temperatures. The photo shows the product that was immersed in hot water at 150℃ for 180 days. Heat-resistant silicone rubber (heat-resistant to 280°C) has no elasticity at all, but PEEK did not deform. The temperature at which PEEK becomes soft under a constant load (glass transition point) is 143°C, so care may be required when using it near this temperature.
The deflection temperature under load is 152℃ under a load of 1.8MPa (measurement method ISO75). PEEK is odorless, has a melting point of 341°C, and a flash point of 575°C. It is insoluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents, and is affected by concentrated sulfuric acid. It's an object.
