About This Product
This is a product made by polishing the outer diameter of a Duracon round bar. Polishing here refers to products that have been polished with a whetstone. This type of polishing work is called centerless or center lace. (Centerless grinder) The standard round bar lengths are 1,000 mm (1M) and 2,000 mm (2M).
If the outer diameter is slightly negative, it can be inserted into the mating material. Because of these strong demands, the standard centerless Duracon round bar has a negative tolerance. Duracon's centerless round bar has a negative tolerance, which is advantageous when it is fitted into a collet chuck.
Round bars with plus tolerance are also available. We also support sizes such as 12.7Φ by special order. Centerless work can be done with most plastic round bars. For Duracon with an outer diameter of 3Φ or less, 3Φ Duracon is centerless polished. Therefore, the price of 2Φ is higher than that of 3Φ, and the price of 1Φ is higher than that of 2Φ. It is possible to accommodate outer diameters up to 50Φ.
