About This Product
■Epoxy glass (Glass epoxy. Glass epoxy)
Epoxy glass is made by applying varnish to the surface of glass fiber cloth and letting it dry. The product in this state is called resin cloth. Layer several layers of this resin cloth (prepreg) to the desired thickness. Heat while applying pressure from above and below. Then it hardens. A board in this state is an epoxy glass laminate.
Wrap resin cloth (prepreg), put it into a mold, and let it harden to create a round bar. Epoxy glass is said to show no change in appearance even if left in an atmosphere at 180 degrees for two hours. The specific gravity of epoxy glass is 1.75-1.85, but we use a value of 1.8 when calculating.
