About This Product
■Epoxy glass (Glass epoxy. Glass epoxy)
Epoxy glass is made by applying varnish to the surface of glass fiber cloth and letting it dry. The product in this state is called resin cloth. Layer several layers of this resin cloth (prepreg) to the desired thickness. Heat while applying pressure from above and below. Then it hardens. A board in this state is an epoxy glass laminate.
A board made by laminating epoxy varnish and glass fiber (cloth) and molding them under pressure and temperature is called an epoxy glass laminate. Epoxy glass is said to show no change in appearance even if left in an atmosphere at 180 degrees for two hours. The specific gravity of epoxy glass is 1.75-1.85, but we use a value of 1.8 when calculating.
