About This Product

■ What is ndir? NDIR is an abbreviation of Non Dispersive Infrared (non -scattered infrastral), and the NDIR method is a measurement method of gas concentration using the unique absorption wave length region of each gas. For example, carbon dioxide molecules (CO2) absorb 4.26 µm in the infrared region. Infrared of infrared rays that penetrate the gas depends on the concentration of carbon dioxide contained in it, so this phenomenon can use this phenomenon to quantify the carbon dioxide concentration.

There are many ways to measure gas concentration, but most of them are accompanied by chemical changes and sensors themselves, which can change the gas subject to measurements. Compared to them, the concentration measurement can be measured without changing the target gas in the NDIR method that measures the absorbance.
