■What is TS flange?
Plumbing flanges are used to connect pipes or to close off the ends of pipes. The "TS" in this TS flange refers to the construction method. This connection method is called the "TS method" or "TS type joining."
TS stands for "Taper sized solvent welding method". A method of connecting PVC pipes, in which a joint with a tapered socket and adhesive are applied to both joining surfaces of the pipe, and the joint is inserted using the swelling of the surface and the elasticity of the pipe and joint. It's a thing. It is also called cold joining because it is a joining method that does not use fire or electric heat when connecting piping.
Other flanges
■About the "K" in 5K and 10K.
K refers to pressure. If the nominal pressure is JIS standard 5K, the rated pressure (nominal operating pressure of the valve) is approximately 0.5 MPa (megapascal). The current pressure unit is "Pa (pascal)," but it is a remnant of the previously used unit "kgf/cm2," and is generally written as "~K.
