How fine is the mesh?
■About mesh notation
・It is a 1-inch square with a number of meshes placed vertically and horizontally.
・Example) 40 mesh is 1 inch (25.4 mm) ÷ 40 = 0.635 mm, which means there is a hole approximately 0.6 mm square.
■Mesh type, mesh size (four eyes)
・40 mesh (coarse type): approx. 0.635mm (coarse grain sand)
・60 mesh (standard type): Approx. 0.423mm (medium grain sand)
・80 mesh (fine type): Approx. 0.317mm (medium grain sand that does not reach fine grain sand)
