Heat treatment salt bath additives are generally referred to collectively as "salts" in the heat treatment industry. SOLT means salt, but if you continue to apply heat to not only salt but other raw materials of various compositions, "salt" will eventually become a liquid. The heat treatment performed using this heat medium is called "salt bath heat treatment." Salt bath heat treatment has been used for a long time as a means to more effectively bring out the properties of metal materials. Metal heat treatment is used for heat treatment of parts and tools for automobiles, electricity, OA equipment, precision machinery, aircraft, nuclear power, etc. Furthermore, due to the various characteristics of salt bath agents, it is used as a heat exchange medium, chemical reaction medium, reaction of optical glass, etc. It is widely used in fuel cells, new energy materials, etc. Parker Heat Treatment Industry Co., Ltd. boasts the top share of the domestic production volume of salt bath heat treatment agents, and uses its long-standing technology and development capabilities to meet customer needs.

■Steel foil (decarburization, carburization test material)

This is a high carbon steel foil with a thickness of 0.05mm that is controlled to approximately 1.0%C. Immerse this foil section in a neutral heating bath and quickly cool in water. After that, bend it by hand, and if it bends well and can be bent many times, you can judge that the carbon content of the steel foil is around 0.1% and the decarburization rate is 90%. If the steel foil breaks easily when you try to bend it, you can easily determine that the carbon content of the steel foil is around 0.3% and the decarburization rate is 70%. (The width of the foil is 34mm, the length is 75m, 1kg per roll)
