About This Product

■Summary

As a top manufacturer of catalysts (filters), which are consumables for ozone decomposers, we offer high-efficiency honeycomb structure filters. Honeycomb catalyst for ozone decomposition

■Ozone decomposition reaction mechanism

The feature of the honeycomb catalyst is that the ozone adsorption, decomposition, and desorption reactions occur rapidly at room temperature, allowing it to maintain its high decomposition performance over a long period of time. Honeycomb catalysts consist of a manganese-based catalyst on a ceramic substrate.

■Features

・High performance ceramic. All products are made of inorganic materials, so there is no risk of combustion or explosion caused by ozone. - Demonstrates high performance over a wide range of ozone concentrations and temperatures. - Corrugated honeycomb structure provides low pressure loss and long life. -Can be used even in high humidity. Application example of ozone decomposition catalyst

■Low concentration

Processed ozone concentration: about 1ppm (about 0 to 10ppm), Space velocity (SV=1/hr): about 50,000 to 300,000, Applications: copy machines, air purifiers, refrigerators, toilet deodorization

■Medium concentration

Processing ozone concentration: about 100ppm (about 10 to 1,000ppm), Space velocity (SV=1/hr): about 1,000 to 10,000, Applications: Liquid crystal/semiconductor cleaning equipment/corona discharge treatment/electron beam irradiation

■High concentration

Processed ozone concentration: around 10,000 ppm (1,000 to several hundred thousand ppm), Space velocity (SV=1/hr): around 100 to 1,000, Application: High concentration ozone generator/surface modification/ultra pure water applications

■Ozone decomposition performance and space velocity. Measurement conditions

・Ozone concentration: 2ppm ・Temperature: 25℃ ・Humidity: 35% ・Decomposition rate is related to space velocity.

■Example of application of ozone decomposition catalyst. Features

Even at low temperatures, the reaction speed is fast, allowing processing at high SV. Because it does not easily absorb water, it maintains excellent performance even when exposed to humid gases. Excellent low temperature activity. Even in the relative humidity range of 80-90%, it is difficult to get wet with water, so it exhibits excellent catalytic performance even at low temperatures. Conditions/Ozone:2,000ppmSV:5,000hrRH:80% or more

■About catalyst deterioration

A catalyst is something that does not change in theory, but in actual use its performance deteriorates due to various external factors. These factors are called poisonous substances, and include primary poisoning and permanent poisoning.
