It also supports C-axis machining programming. In addition, by combining it with Mastercam Mill, it is possible to perform milling from any plane, further expanding the range of processing possibilities.
What you can do with Mastercam LATHE
■Dynamic rough cutting
Apply Dynamic Motion calculation routines to turning roughing toolpaths to make turning difficult-to-cut materials easier.
■Rough contour cutting
Creates an offset roughing pass for the selected machining geometry. This is effective when the stock is close to the shape of the part.
■Flexible groove machining
Generates rough cutting and finishing passes with groove machining that supports rounded and curved lines.
■PrimeTurning
In partnership with Sandvik Coromant, this new tool delivers high processing efficiency and increased productivity.
■Stock preview (3/4 display)
You can check the shape after turning in a 3D model without the need for toolpath simulation.
■Rotation profile drawing
Automatically create cross-sectional shapes for turning from solid and surface models.
■C-axis milling
It is possible to create a milling tool path using the C-axis for the workpiece side surface or wrapped shape.
■Lathe operation settings
You can set the stock and chuck, and set lathe-specific operations such as regripping and tailstock.
