About This Product

Corian is a methacrylic resin-reinforced inorganic material that is a scientific combination of natural minerals and MMA resin. Approximately 60 years after its birth, it has grown into a highly trusted brand and is loved by people in approximately 130 countries around the world. It is used for a variety of purposes in any space, from plumbing areas such as kitchens and lavatories to furniture such as counters and table tops, as well as reception counters and fixtures. Features

■Can be cut and bent

This material can be easily cut with woodworking power tools. It is also possible to drill holes and cut complex shapes. Additionally, it can be bent using heat, making it possible to create bold quadratic curved designs that cannot be achieved with other materials.

■Collaboration with carving and light

In the color lineup with enhanced translucency, these characteristics are utilized for creative productions, such as emitting light from inside the counter or signboard, or illuminating only the engraved part of the sign. Depending on your ideas, you can create a variety of original designs, such as engraving a logo or motif on the reception counter.

■Seamless adhesion

A special seam adhesive is used to bond the Corian pieces together. The seams in the bonded parts are not noticeable, allowing for a finish that looks like one-piece molding. It is hygienic and does not collect dirt.

■Excellent maintainability

It is a non-porous solid wood that does not allow water or dirt to seep into it. You can use a sponge scrubber or cream cleanser to repair even simple scratches.

■Weather resistance

Since Corian is a methacrylic resin, it is resistant to sunlight and ultraviolet rays, and there is almost no discoloration or deterioration. You can use it safely in places exposed to sunlight or outdoors. *Color may fade depending on the outdoor usage environment. The degree of fading varies depending on the color.

■Heat resistance

Even if a cigarette is left unattended, the surface will not burn or deform. Leaving a flat-bottomed pot heated to 280°C for 5 minutes will not cause any major damage. *If you place a hot pot on it, it may cause slight roughness or dents, so please use a trivet for daily use.
