■Features

​A highly specialized open-path UV gas detector, the Quasar SafEye™ 950/960 provides reliable toxic gas leak monitoring. The Quasar950 model detects toxic hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide gases. Quasar960 model warns of toxic ammonia leaks.

■Detection performance of SafEye™

SafEye™ Quasar950/960 series permanent open path gas detectors ensure the safety of hazardous areas and workers in factories. The sensors installed in these detectors are characterized by high sensitivity and fast response. Accurately detect concentrations of toxic gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and ammonia (NH3) at ranges up to 60 m (197 ft).

■Robust and excellent durability

SafEye™ Quasar950/960 provides excellent measurement performance even in harsh environments. A lens equipped with a heater prevents measurement accuracy from being degraded by ice build-up or heavy snow storms. The detector is anti-glare and is not affected by sunlight, gas flares, welding arcs, and other high-intensity radiation. Furthermore, it has high resistance to vibration.

■User-friendly despite altitude

SafEye™ Quasar950/960 gas detectors are technically advanced products, but they are also extremely easy to use. Using the handheld terminal (optional), one person can easily install, align, calibrate, and configure the detector.

■Compatibility with existing control systems

The SafEye™ Quasar950/960 is equipped with various output signals. Compatible with various industry standard protocols such as 0-20mA, HART® and RS485Modbus. Additionally, we offer a variety of versions so you can choose the model that best suits your environment. This gives you the flexibility to build highly customized security, monitoring, and alarm systems. SafEye™ 950/960 is ATEX, IECEx, TR CU and SIL2 certified.
