About This Product

■Features

The Dräger VarioGard central unit is the central unit of a cost-effective modular gas detection and alarm system. A variety of gases can be managed by connecting up to 100 detection units on the digital bus.

■Various types of alarm management

Four concentration alarms and four average value alarms can be set on a selectable time basis for each connected detector. When a gas alarm is detected, a visual, audio, and LED alarm will be activated, allowing you to take appropriate action.

■Settings according to user requirements

The VarioGard system can be individually configured and programmed according to the user's specifications. In addition to VarioGard sensing units, you can choose VarioGard relay modules, VarioGard converter modules, and VarioGard backup power modules. The 3-wire digital bus cable connecting these modules can be extended up to 1,100m.

■Easy operation

Device settings are made using six keys and on the two-line display. The device consists of three-color LEDs [normal operation (green), warning (yellow), and alarm (red)], a built-in alarm sound, and five programmable relays.
