About This Product

■Features

Dräger VarioGard2300IR is a detector with a 4-20mA signal output and an infrared sensor. Detects flammable gases such as methane and LPG in non-explosion-proof areas such as underground garages and laboratories.

■High reliability

Equipped with a high-precision infrared optical sensor, the Dräger VarioGard 2300 significantly reduces the occurrence of false alarms and reliably issues an alarm only when a real danger exists. Additionally, IR sensors offer superior durability, reducing the need for recalibration. Additionally, these sensors are resistant to external factors in the surrounding atmosphere, reducing the risk of sensor damage.

■Easy setup and handling

The Dräger VarioGard 2300 is easy to install and operate and requires no special knowledge or training. All detectors are configured at the time of shipment, so no additional settings are required on site. Additionally, only a few tools are required for future maintenance of the device, such as a magnetic bar, calibration adapter, and test gas.

■Gas library

VarioGard2300 can be easily customized for special applications by selecting methane and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) options in the gas library.

■Standardized output signal

Thanks to the standardized 4-20mA signal, the Dräger VarioGard product range can be combined with any control system or integrated into existing systems.

■Emphasis on sustainability

The VarioGard detector is equipped with the highly durable DrägerSensor, which extends the lifespan of the device in line with Dräger's sustainability philosophy. The new housing design optimizes material usage compared to the previous series. Additionally, we maintain compatibility with accessories and electronic spare parts from previous series, reducing waste.
