■Features
Dräger PEX3000 gas detector detects flammable gases and vapors at concentrations below the lower explosive limit (100%LEL). This product protects factories from explosion accidents. The catalytic combustion sensor used in the gas detector outputs a measurement signal with excellent long-term stability and responds to gas within a few seconds.
■6 types of equipment
You can choose from two measurement ranges (0-100 or 0-10%LEL) and two relay terminal box sizes. Large terminal boxes also offer horizontal or vertical cable connection options. Polytron SE Ex's sensor head and remote cable assembly allow the sensor to be installed in a separate location from the relay terminal box.
■Simple installation
The three-core shielded cable from the control system terminates in the Dräger PEX3000 relay terminal box with three European explosion-proof certified spring terminals.
The sensor then connects to three spring terminals. These spring terminals are less likely to loosen than regular screw terminals, and are inherently more reliable, so you don't have to worry about loosening.
■One-man proofreading
With the state-of-the-art design of the Dräger PEX3000, maintenance and calibration can be performed by opening the terminal box in hazardous areas.
Using the two internal push buttons, 7-segment digital display, and display, you can perform a variety of tasks such as one-man calibration. No additional hardware like handheld terminals is required.
■Explosion-proof
Dräger PEX3000 complies with EU Directive 2014/34/EU and can operate in an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +65°C. This also applies in explosive gas and explosive dust environments (zones 1, 2, 21, 22).
■Low concentration gas
For applications where it is necessary to detect low concentrations of gases, the Dräger PEX3000 XTR 0010 or XTR 0011 type is ideal because of its special low-drift LC sensor. These gas detectors reliably detect gas leaks up to 10%LEL.
