About This Product

■Features

The Dräger Flame 1350 detects hydrocarbon fires by combining UV and infrared sensors. These powerful sensors and advanced algorithms increase safety and reduce false alarms.

■Fast and safe detection

The Dräger Flame 1350 combines UV and infrared sensors to safely and reliably detect hydrocarbon fires. Its high reliability and performance meet the safety integrity level SIL2 defined by IEC61508, as well as the high performance requirements of EN54-10 and FM3260. This flame detector also features HART® functionality and an RS-485 interface for low power consumption.

■Preventing false alarms

Equipped with two sensors, the Flame1350 detects electromagnetic radiation in the short wavelength UV and infrared spectral ranges. The frequency, intensity and duration of the measured signal are analyzed. An alarm occurs only when the response criteria of both sensors are met, thus preventing false alarms. Additionally, the high detection sensitivity ensures that the detector will not falsely flag flames in other areas.

■Sturdy and excellent durability

The housing is extremely robust and highly weather resistant. Additionally, windows can be automatically heated to prevent freezing and fogging. Therefore, the Flame1350 can operate reliably even under harsh environments (operating temperature is -60°C to +85°C).

■Simple verification

A built-in self-test, Advanced Optical Verification (AOV), automatically checks the Flame1350's electrical and optical components. A tri-color LED on the front also allows you to quickly check the status of the detector. Green indicates normal operation, yellow indicates a failure, and red indicates a fire alarm.

■ Maximized flexibility

If required, the Dräger Flame 1350 can also be used as a combined UV/IR detector, IR detector or UV detector. This means it can detect metal fires that are only visible in the ultraviolet spectrum. Individual sensors can be easily switched using the provided software.
