■Features

This is an explosion-proof stationary infrared gas detector that continuously monitors flammable gases and vapors. Featuring a stainless steel SS316L housing and a stable, drift-free optical measurement system, this detector is suitable for use in harsh installation environments such as on offshore platforms.

■Dräger PIR7000

The Dräger PIR7000 is available in two types: 334 type and 340 type. Each type uses a different measurement wavelength band, allowing a wider range of substances to be detected with greater accuracy.

■High signal stability

Following the worldwide acclaim of the Dräger Polytron IR as the most stable stationary infrared gas detector, Dräger now releases the Dräger PIR7000, equipped with the latest technology. The Dräger PIR7000 is based on the latest patented technology and features a state-of-the-art focusing structure and a 4-beam signal stabilization system. The optical measurement system does not use a beam splitter, only a set of various reflectors. This double-compensated optical measuring system is highly resistant to influences such as dust, fog, and insects that frequently get into the measuring cuvette or dirt that accumulates on the surface of the optical elements. Due to the non-imaging optical structure, the measurement signal is not affected by partial beam blocking. With this innovative optical measurement system, the Dräger PIR7000 meets customer requirements: no false alarms, optimized maintenance intervals and drift-free signal output.

■Fast response

It is equally important to understand potential hazards as early as possible. Fast and reliable gas alarms allow you to take appropriate safety measures on site. To achieve this, the Dräger PIR7000 is equipped with a response mode switching function that allows you to select the response time ("Normal" or "Fast") depending on the purpose and application. By selecting 'Fast' mode and setting the lowest practicable alarm threshold, the Dräger PIR7000 can minimize the delay in the event of an alarm. This makes it possible to detect gas leaks at the same time as they occur.
