About This Product

■Features The Dräger X-am5600 is an extremely compact gas detection alarm with an ergonomic design and innovative infrared sensor technology that can detect up to 6 gases. Suitable for personal monitoring applications, it is extremely durable and waterproof, allowing accurate measurements of flammable and toxic gases, vapors, and oxygen concentrations. ■Small, sturdy design The gas detection alarm X-am5600 has a lightweight, compact, and easy-to-use design that allows it to be operated with one hand, and is sturdy and highly waterproof, allowing it to be used even in harsh work environments. Dustproof and waterproof performance with protection class IP67 and integrally molded rubber protection enable use in harsh environments. ■Durable infrared technology Due to their high stability and resistance to contamination, Dräger infrared sensors are long-life sensors that can be used for up to 8 years. This advanced technology significantly reduces operating costs by requiring fewer sensor replacements. Additionally, the infrared sensor only needs to be calibrated every 12 months, reducing maintenance costs. ■Accurate measurement results with single or dual sensor The infrared sensor IR Ex can measure explosive and flammable hydrocarbons in the lower explosive limit concentration range. The infrared sensor IR CO2 measures with an accuracy of 0.01Vol%, ensuring safe and accurate measurements. It will also issue an alert if the carbon dioxide in the surrounding atmosphere is at a toxic concentration. If reliable measurements of explosive substances and CO2 are required, the dual sensor (Dual IR CO2/Ex) can be used to measure both substances. ■Can be used in conjunction with hydrogen detection Besides hydrocarbons, hydrogen is also an explosive gas. Sensors using infrared technology do not warn of hydrogen explosion hazards, so the X-am5600 combines two types of sensor signals (infrared Ex and electrochemical H2HC) to provide reliable hydrogen detection. The X-am5600 is equipped with technology that is immune to catalyst poisoning, allowing it to be used in locations where only catalytic combustion sensors were previously used.
