About This Product

■Features

Realizes unprecedented sampling and clearance measurement that is extremely simple and user-friendly. This 1-7 component gas detection alarm simultaneously detects and measures toxic and flammable gases, vapors, and oxygen in both diffusion and suction modes. The innovative motion signal function and easy-to-understand operation guidance function ensure a high level of work safety.

■Special design for efficient sampling and pre-measurement using pump suction

The Dräger X-am®8000 is equipped with a very powerful and high-performance pump. A hose of up to 45 meters can be connected to the pump. The pump adapter allows you to easily switch between diffusion and suction modes at any time, allowing you to start and use the pump only when you need it. This not only saves battery consumption, but also extends the life of the pump. Easy to handle and robust, the Dräger X-am®8000 can be operated intuitively with one hand thanks to its three function buttons. A clear color display makes it easy to see measurements and other information. This multi-component gas detection alarm also includes advanced software features that allow you to change the measurement gas for PID, CatEx, and IR sensors during use. It is based on built-in libraries and comfortable operating guidance features that allow you to flexibly adapt the instrument to your measurement tasks, including hiding unused sensor channels. The standard accessory shoulder strap makes carrying the X-am8000 easy and comfortable. Due to its compact and sturdy structure, it can be used even in harsh environments.

■Economic fleet management, operational management

Bump testing and calibration can be performed easily and quickly using the Dräger X-dock® calibration station. This calibration station has low test gas consumption and minimizes operating costs. The PC software X-dock Manager is equipped with many useful functions in addition to reporting functions, enabling efficient fleet management and operational management. Detectors can be managed and identified using barcodes or built-in RFID transponders.
