About This Product

■Features This PID gas detector is capable of selectively measuring components in mixed gases, making it ideal for workers who frequently inspect hazardous substances. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as benzene and butadiene are carcinogenic even at very low concentrations. These gases often coexist with other gases and vapors, requiring selective measurements. This gas meter reduces test time and delivers laboratory-quality results. ■Efficient measurement in two modes ``Detect'' mode is a broadband measurement for preliminary testing and localization of measurement points. The total concentration of all volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present can be measured directly and continuously. "Detection" mode is similar to the usage of regular PID gas measuring instruments. "Analyze" mode allows selective measurements to monitor specific toxic compounds. Predefined target compounds can be accurately measured in seconds. The "Analyze" mode is similar to gas chromatography analysis performed in the laboratory. ■Up to 90% time reduction The Dräger X-pid9500 requires no preparation and is ready for use after a simple start-up. Selective measurements in "Analyze" mode can be made in seconds. Press the push button to start benzene measurement and complete in just 30 seconds. After 60 seconds it is ready for the next benzene measurement. Compared to other detection systems, Dräger X-pid9500 can perform more monitoring in less time. Simultaneous measurement of other compounds such as benzene and butadiene reduces test time. ■Cost savings No consumables are used for measurements, reducing operating costs. If a large number of measurements are required, the Dräger X-pid9500 will pay for itself relatively quickly. For example, it does not require a pretube, making it easier to use and less prone to errors. With 200 measurements per year, the Dräger X-pid9500 offers a generally higher total cost compared to similar measurement systems.
