■Features

In an emergency, accurate communication is always required. The Dräger FPS®-COM5000 communication unit, developed specifically for the Dräger FPS®7000 full-face mask, allows loudspeaker units and radios to be used with clear sound quality even in harsh environments.

■Transmits only voice – no noise

The Dräger FPS-COM5000 enables interference-free communication even in high-noise environments. Digital noise reduction eliminates noise and acoustic feedback (howling) that reaches the microphone inside the facepiece. In particular, breathing sounds are not transmitted to loudspeakers or radios. This prevents misunderstandings during communication and allows you to focus on your mission.

■Connection to other communication channels

You can connect the Dräger FPS-COM5000 to over 350 different radios via the included jack to the external Dräger C-C440 Push, To, Talk button or the Dräger C-C550 remote speaker microphone. You can also connect the Dräger FPS-COM5000 directly to your radio and use the push, toe and talk buttons built into the facepiece. You can also connect to Bluetooth-enabled radios, so you don't have to worry about tangled cables.

■High reliability, low operating costs

If you forget to switch off your Dräger FPS-COM5000 after finishing your work, no problem! If no breathing sounds are detected for 10 minutes (after the pre-alarm), the communication unit will automatically disconnect. This feature improves battery life, reduces maintenance costs, and keeps your equipment ready when you need it most.
