About This Product

■Features​Dräger REGARD®3000 is a modular gas detection and alarm controller for monitoring various gases and vapors.

Multi-colored status indicators indicate the status of the gas detection system. This controller allows you to combine three different modules: input, relay output, and gateway. Therefore, for example, it is possible to connect a gas detector with a combination of up to 4 concentration data input points and up to 8 relay output points.

■Excellent audibility and visibility​When an alarm occurs, every moment counts. In such cases, the status of the gas detection system needs to be visible at a glance.

The Dräger REGARD 3000 with status indicator light makes this possible. Each status is displayed in three colors: normal (blue), equipment failure (yellow), and alarm (red). Furthermore, you can easily check the status when an alarm is triggered (red flashing) and after the alarm is confirmed (red lit).

This allows all parties on site to be informed of the situation and allows for easy daily checks. Equipped with an integrated alarm buzzer and functional safety standard (SIL2) compliant relay contacts, the REGARD3000 contributes to an even higher level of security.

■Remote access, centralized gas detection and alarm systemMany gas detectors are installed in difficult-to-access locations or remote from each detector or control unit to which it connects. The REGARD3000's 4–20mA HART® input module provides access to all diagnostic information, including alarms and equipment faults.

It is also possible to read and write gas detector setting information. An intuitive touch display provides an overview of the gas detection system's status at any time.
