Dräger PointGard3200 is a complete one-channel gas detection system for measuring flammable gases and vapors in the atmosphere. All the necessary alarm equipment is included in a rugged yet compact housing with protection class IP66.
■All in one
PointGard3200 is the perfect solution for those who need a gas detection system but don't have the hassle of assembling the necessary components. The device includes a transmitter with measurement functions, a controller with evaluation functions, and essential alarm devices such as flashing lights and buzzers.
The AC version of the PointGard3200 operates by plugging the optional mains plug into a standard power outlet. If the measurement location is not suitable for PointGard installation, it can also be ordered without the sensor and installed up to 30m away using the corresponding remote accessory. We also offer accessories suitable for use in piping and ventilation shafts.
■Application
If you need to measure gas concentration locally, use PointGard3200. A typical application is the measurement of flammable gases or vapors in unventilated or closed rooms.
In such cases, install the PointGard3200 outside the room near the entrance and the sensor inside the room to be monitored. In this way, it is possible to obtain information about the gas concentration before entering the room. When alarm limits are exceeded, PointGard's built-in alarm system issues a warning.
Automatic ventilation can also be activated, allowing you to re-enter the room once the concentration has dropped and there is no danger.
