The Dräger Polytron®7000 gas detector provides a single platform for numerous toxic gas and oxygen measurement applications. The innovative modular concept gives you the flexibility to configure exactly to your application.
■Easy to operate
In collaboration with our customers, Dräger has developed a simple software menu for the Polytron7000. The large graphic display provides status information in the form of icons and text, making it easy to calibrate and configure settings.
■Communication interface
The Polytron7000 is available with a variety of output types, including 4-20mA, HART®, LON, PROFIBUS®, and FOUNDATION Fieldbus™, allowing connection to a variety of control systems. Thanks to the modular design, new equipment can also be retrofitted via these interfaces.
■Remote sensor
The remote sensor adapter can not only be easily mounted on the wall, but can also be placed in exhaust ducts or piping by combining it with a pipe adapter.
■Relay module
The Dräger Polytron 7000 can be equipped with a relay module and output two gas concentration alarms and one fault alarm, allowing it to be used as an independent gas alarm system.
■Intelligent sensor
Dräger Polytron 7000 is capable of detecting over 100 gases. DrägerSensors are specifically designed to meet the demands of 24/7 operation, with large sizes and a renowned long service life.
Recording all relevant gas and calibration information, substrate temperature and pressure compensation in the built-in sensor data memory, the DrägerSensor offers unparalleled measurement capabilities. The Polytron7000 therefore allows you to use pre-calibrated sensors with minimal operator intervention. The Dräger Polytron 7000 is a virtually maintenance-free transmitter.
