About This Product

■About selection

An ultrasonic thickness gauge is a convenient device that can measure thickness by simply touching a sensor called a transducer to one side of the measurement point. Transducers are also called probes or transducers, and they play the role of converting electrical signals into ultrasound waves, and converting ultrasound waves into electrical signals. There are various types of transducers, depending on frequency, diameter, shape, structure, and type of piezoelectric element used. Ultrasonic thickness measurement requires selecting an appropriate transducer (probe/probe) depending on the material, shape, and purpose to be measured. Using an inappropriate transducer may result in failure to measure or incorrect readings.
