About This Product

■Summary

・A new concept of couplant applied between the delay material and the probe - Guarantees highly reliable bonding with no need for reapplying semi-permanently ・Capacity: 59ml ・Viscosity: High viscosity ・Sound speed: 1,492m/sec Forever Wedge Couplant is a special couplant for vertical, angle, and phased array probes that has a removable delay liner (wedge). Once applied between the delay material (wedge) and the transducer, there is no risk of decreased sensitivity due to poor bonding due to the couplant drying out, so there is no need to apply the couplant regularly as in the past. It also doesn't harden like glue, so it can be easily removed. The Forever Wedge Couplant is a new concept couplant that guarantees a long-term and reliable bond between the delay line (wedge) and the transducer.

■Features/Specifications

・Special couplant for probes with delay line ・Once applied, it is semi-permanent (for several years) and does not require reapplication. ・Can also be used as a regular couplant; difficult to dry, ideal for long-term measurements ・High viscosity that does not spread and stays at the measurement point ・Unaffected by water, heat, and light, non-toxic ・Supports temperatures from -45 to 371℃
