EMAT-A1 is a revolutionary transducer that allows you to use an ultrasonic flaw detector as an electromagnetic ultrasonic thickness gauge. Simply connect the EMAT-A1 to turn your device into a high-performance electromagnetic ultrasonic thickness gauge. With electromagnetic ultrasonic thickness measurement, it is possible to directly measure the thickness without removing the oxide film (rust/scale) using a grinder, etc. It can easily measure the thickness of the base material of overcoated or deteriorated coating materials, and it also eliminates the need to apply couplant, allowing non-contact measurement. By using the EMAT-A1, it is possible to perform ultrasonic flaw detection and electromagnetic ultrasonic thickness measurement with one device, and work can be carried out efficiently by using the different devices at the measurement location.
