About This Product

This is a CBB staining/destaining kit that detects proteins on blotting membranes. After decolorization, antibody reaction is possible, and it can also be used for normalization with total protein. This is a staining/destaining reagent kit that detects proteins on blotted membranes. Detects with high sensitivity using the bright blue band produced by CBB dye. After detection, subsequent antibody reactions can be performed by decolorizing the band. Since it does not contain acetic acid, there is no acetic acid odor. (MEM: Abbreviation of membrane)

■Purpose/Usage

This is a staining/destaining reagent kit for detecting proteins on membranes after transfer in Western blotting analysis. Perform staining to confirm transfer efficiency before antibody reaction. The staining results can be used to normalize the target protein after antibody reaction.

・Capable of detecting proteins on membranes ・Detection in a short time: about 1 minute for staining and 5 minutes for decolorization ・Bright blue band ・Antigen-antibody reaction is possible after decolorization ・Supports normalization using total protein ・Higher sensitivity than Ponceau S ・No acetic acid odor

Bleach complete decolorization solution: 500mL

Approximately 0.2~0.3mL/cm2
Mini size gel (80x95mm) for 20~25 sheets

Remove staining solution and mix 1:1 with methanol.
(Methanol is not included with this product)

Staining solution: Coomassie brilliant blue (CBB) dye
