About This Product

A detection reagent that enables electrophoresis while fluorescently staining DNA and RNA by mixing it with a gel or migration buffer.

■Product overview

・Fluorescence detection reagents for nucleic acids such as DNA and RNA ・Detection of nucleic acids (DNA/RNA) after agarose electrophoresis ・Can be detected immediately after electrophoresis by adding it to agarose gel to create a gel ・Can be detected immediately after electrophoresis when added to the electrophoresis buffer (pre-dyed detection) ・Can be used as a post-staining reagent by creating a staining solution with TAE, TBE, and TE buffers - Dilute 10,000 times with various buffers such as TAE, TBE, TE, etc.

■Adjustment before use Yarn dyeing

1. When making gel: Add to agarose gel solution at 1/10,000 volume. 2. Add to running buffer: dilute 10,000 times with TAE, TBE, TE, etc.

■Adjustment before use Piece dyeing

3. Dilute 10,000 times with a buffer such as TAE, TBE, or TE to make a staining solution.

■How to use yarn dyeing

1. Perform electrophoresis on agarose gel containing EzPreStain DNA&RNA, and detect after completion of electrophoresis. 2. Perform electrophoresis using electrophoresis buffer containing EzPreStain DNA&RNA, and detect after completion of electrophoresis.

■How to use Piece dyed

3. Immerse the gel after electrophoresis in the staining solution prepared with EzPreStain DNA&RNA for about 10 to 30 minutes. *No bleaching required *Please do not use glass containers as the pigment will settle.

■Detection

・Irradiate the pre-dyed and post-dyed gel with an excitation light source and detect the band. ・Recommended light source type, excitation light (Ex): 250-320nm (UV), 440-500nm (BlueLED), 470-520nm (CyanLED), absorption wavelength peak: 250nm, 482nm ・Fluorescence (Em): Maximum fluorescence wavelength 509nm ・Recommended filter: 500-550nm LP filter
